How to Pick a Seat on Breeze Airways?

By Flydreamz Nov, 18 2025

Breeze Airways is an American airline for travelers looking for an affordable option. It is known for allowing customers to customize their in-flight experience. Despite being a low-cost carrier, they never compromise on providing excellent services, according to the passengers. Along with the services, their policies are also customer-centric, and one of them is a seat selection policy, details of which are given below.

What is the Breeze Seat selection policy?

  • This airline uses a segmented seating and pricing model, offering three distinct types that align with 4 main fare options: no flex, nice, nicer, and nicest.
  • The Breeze seat selection process is centered around paying to choose your seat unless you purchase one of the higher fare bundles.
  • Breeze operates on a pay-to-pick model, which means if you purchase the lowest fares, you must pay an extra fee to choose any seat, including the standard seat.
  • Seats are only free to select if they are included in your purchased bundle.
    • Nicer bundles include a free choice of any extra legroom or standard seat.
    • Nicest bundles include a free choice of any lower-tier seat.
  • You can choose and pay for your seat during the initial booking process, after booking through my trips section in the app or website or after check-in.
  • You can still upgrade your seat after checking in if better seats are available.
  • If you do not pay to select a seat, you will randomly get a Breeze Seat assignment process at the time of check-in. You cannot guarantee a specific seat during this process, but you can sit together with your travel companion.
  • Breeze also offers family Breeze Preferred seating, which ensures that children 12 and under are seated next to the accompanying adult free of charge in the standard seating section.

What are the Types of Breeze Seats Available?

  • Breeze orders three tiers of Breeze airways seat selection available primarily on their modern aircraft.
  • Standard seats are nice fare bundles that are included on no-flex fares, and they offer USB power ports as the key amenity.
  • Extra-legroom seats are nicer bundles that offer more space and USB power ports.
  • Breeze ascent seats are the nicest bundles, offering recliner-style seating, wider space, leg rests, complimentary snacks or drinks, and power outlets.

How to Pick a Seat on a Breeze Airways Flight?

  • When selecting your flight, choose your preferred bundle, and after that, you will be directed to the seat map for Breeze Airways seat selection.
  • If you have chosen the nice bundle, you will see prices for all available seats.
  • If you have chosen the nicer bundles, then they will include the seats, which will show you $0 price.
  • If you have already completed the booking, you can also choose your seat in the My Trips section.
  • Log in to your account and go to the " My Trips area to click on your reservations.
  • Next to the guest's name, click add or edit next to the seat’s icon. Then select your desired seats from the seat map. A text box will then display the final price.
  • Click check out to finalize a payment and confirm the Breeze seat assignment.

What are the Different Situations and Their Rules?

  • If a guest removes a paid assignment with more than 24 hours remaining before the flight, they will receive the full cost of a seat back as a flight credit, but this will not be possible for highly restrictive fares.
  • Seats in emergency exit rows cannot be occupied by children under 15, passengers travelling with children or infants, passengers requiring seat belt extension or passengers with certain disabilities.
  • If a traveler is travelling with a car seat, then they must place it in the window seat to avoid blocking the exit area.
  • For people with special needs, the airline will ensure they get a seat that is accessible to them, their service animal, or any assistive device.
  • If people with special needs are travelling with a companion and the airline moves them for any reason, the companion will also be moved free of charge.
  • Guests must indicate they need special assistance during the booking process and during Breeze Airways seat selection, or by updating their reservation in the My Trips section.
  • Only premium seats are assigned to passengers with certain disabilities to ensure their safety and accessibility to their needs while travelling.
  • The seat assignment in the designated family section is free. The family area is designed to accommodate 2 adults with one child, or 1 adult with 1 child, if more than 1 baby is travelling.

FAQ's

According to the travelers, they are not only average but also very comfortable, especially if a person is going to the premium areas.
